If you're on the initial Solaris 10 release (Solaris 10 3/05)
or earlier versions of Solaris x86, /dev/mouse is for USB mice
only, and /dev/kdmouse is for PS/2 mice. With the latest
Solaris 10 patches and the upcoming Solaris 10 1/06 and later
releases, /dev/mouse is *all* mice (including multiplexing
multiple mice plugged into the system) - of course, if you
were running Solaris 10 x86 with the latest patches you'ld
have a prebuilt Xorg 6.8.2 installed anyway.
