Contributing fonts, Greek/Greek Extended

Hi All,
If there is interest to add Greek proportional fonts to X.org,
I would suggest to use the MgOpen fonts, found at
http://www.ellak.gr/fonts/mgopen/

Three font families cover Modern Greek, while also one adds Ancient Greek.

To clear up any issues with licencing, they use the same licence as
Bitstream Vera.

I would think that it is good, for the fonts distributed in X.org, at
least to cover the full Unicode range,
as well as possible.

The StixFonts Project (http://www.stixfonts.org/) appears to be quite
interesting in this respect,
as they cover parts of the Unicode range useful for academic and
scientific use.
It appears they are currently working on sorting out the distribution
licence. So, you may want to contact them.

Finally, if people are happy with the Bitstream Vera distribution license,
I would suggest to make a document/description to help people releasing
their fonts.

Hope this helps,
Simos
