Hi list,

We have a problem compiling KDE (and other programs) with Qt on Slackware 10.1
Included is a part of config.log

 ------//-----------
 configure:29440: rm -rf SunWS_cache; g++ -o conftest -Wnon-virtual-dtor
 -Wno-long-long -Wundef -ansi -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500 -D_BSD_SOURCE -Wcast-align
 -Wconversion -Wchar-subscripts -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith -Wwrite-strings -O2
 -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -I/usr/lib/qt/include
 -I/usr/X11R6/include  -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT  -D_REENTRANT  -L/usr/lib/qt/lib
 -L/usr/X11R6/lib -Wl,--as-needed -Wl,--enable-new-dtags   conftest.cc
 -lqt-mt -lpng -lz -lm -ljpeg -ldl  -lXext -lX11 -lSM -lICE  -lpthread 1>&5
 /usr/X11R6/lib/libfontconfig.so.1: undefined reference to
 `FT_Get_BDF_Property'

After this ./configure gets confused and says that Qt has not been compiled
with thread support which is not true.

It looks as if libfontconfig.so.1 is not compiled for this version. But I have
made a clean install from the downloaded version of Slackware. So has anyone
any idea what I should do to get rid of this problem?

Cheers,
D.Kniep
