Hi,
The first work on the windows port is done. The xserver is compiling. A few
libraries (Xdmcp, Xau, X11) and xkbcomp are working.
The configuration files are called mingw.{cf,tmpl,rules} and are merely
copied from the cygwin port. The DDX is the same as the cygwin port uses
minus some advanced features like the rootless code.
I'm asking for permission to add it to the CVS.
Patches are available via http://freedesktop.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1802
and http://freedesktop.org/~ago/Xming/ (more recent). Changes in non-DDX code
were all wrapped with #ifdef WIN32 to avoid interference with other ports
