[Xorg] in fcfreetype.h ft2build.h: No such file

I am trying to build from CVS on a 2.6.6 box and get:

In file included from ../../extras/fontconfig/src/fcint.h:39,
                 from fcatomic.c:50:
../../extras/fontconfig/fontconfig/fcfreetype.h:27:22: ft2build.h: No such file
or directory

I found ft2build.h in another dir and hardcoded the path to it. Is that a bad
idea?
