Knoppix26 2 (2.6 kernel, stop at runlevel 2 to save the memory for the
compiler.)

# ipconfig
# passwd root
# /etc/init.d/ssh start

Go back to desk, sit on comphy chair, ssh to knoppix box

Find about 800 meg of space, so mount a drive, unless this old box has about a
Gig of ram.
# mkreiserfs /dev/hda1
# cd /mnt/auto/hda1

# cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs at freedesktop.org:/cvs/sysadmin login
cvs login: warning: failed to open /root/.cvspass for reading: No such file or
directory
(I guess you can ignore that - the next line works.)

# cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs at freedesktop.org:/cvs/sysadmin co tinderclient

# vi ./tinderclient/run-client.sh
( set this to: export PERLLIB=/home/knoppix/tinderclient, change Test to
XMonolithic )

# screen ./tinderclient/run-client.sh you.yourbox.knoppix3.4

Disconnect the screen and have a beer.

Should get the same error that my cfk.sahara.knoppix3.4 box does, but at least
it will ready for active duty.  Or maybe it will even be of value as is.
