Hello,

I,ve got the following problem:
My IBM rapidaccess 2 keyboard is not detected properly, so the skip,
play/pause and right-volume-multimedia-key don't work.

Under windows and xfree-4.3, the keys are working.

I use gentoo-linux.
xev don't give any results when I press the keys.

xorg.conf:
...
Section "InputDevice"
  Driver       "Keyboard"
  Identifier   "Keyboard[0]"
  Option       "MapName" "Standard Keyboard [ pc105 ]"
  Option       "Protocol" "Standard"
  Option       "XkbLayout" "de"
  Option       "XkbModel" "rapidaccess2"
  Option       "XkbRules" "xorg"
  Option       "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"
EndSection
...

The other Xkb-settings don't work either.

Xorg.log
...
(**) |-->Input Device "Keyboard[0]"
(**) Option "Protocol" "Standard"
(**) Option "XkbRules" "xorg"
(**) XKB: rules: "xorg"
(**) Option "XkbModel" "rapidaccess2"
(**) XKB: model: "rapidaccess2"
(**) Option "XkbLayout" "de"
(**) XKB: layout: "de"
(**) Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"
(**) XKB: variant: "nodeadkeys"
(==) Keyboard: CustomKeycode disabled
(**) |-->Input Device "Mouse[1]"
...

The other multimedia-keys are working properly.

Does anybody got a hint for me?

Thanks in advance
greetings Andreas
