Also when I run a 3D app both screen revert to clone mode - wierd....

at the moment I'm running a slightly old checkout of CVS but I'm just
building the latest Xorg and I'm running the latest Mesa drivers....
my DRM is a bit old but I'll update that to to see if it goes away...
