[Xorg] Current blocker bug list

In order to get wider exposure to the current list of blocker bugs, I
have put together a list of them along with a comment on each (below).
I will keep this list updated and will post it and the bug stats each
night.

We would like to ask your help with the following:

1. Please help us track down solutions for the current blocker bugs
   listed below.
2. If there are other bugs that should be considered blockers, please
   add them to bugzilla so that we can track them.

The process for having bugs be considered as release blockers is to set
the bug's "Bug # blocks:" field to the release bug, 351.  The release
wranglers will then determine if the bug is one that should hold up the
release or be deferred until after the release.  As we are currently in
the code freeze, only major blocker bugs are being considered.

  - Needs investigation and patch

* Bug #999: Release notes/documentation for next release
  - Need someone to start documenting changes for release notes
  - Need to investigate what other documentation changes are needed

* Bug #1029: Hard failure if socket directories cannot be chowned to root
  - The consensus appears to be to leave the test/hard fail in
  - This solution breaks on systems that do not have setuid
  - Should option to enable/disable hard fail be added?

* Bug #1053: Composite artifacts using Openbox, Enlightenemnt, XFCE, FVWM
  - Needs investigation and patch

* Bug #1083: lndir doesn't handle symlinks to dirs right
  - Patch supplied, needs review

* Bug #1099: Placeholder for for all bugs "held open" but not blocking
  - Each of these could use more investigation

* Bug #1101: Background pixmaps are painted with wrong origin in child
             widgets of redirected windows
  - Test program provided
  - Needs investigation and patch

* Bug #1119: Build breaks with UseInstalled* and ProjectRoot set
  - Initial patch supplied.
  - Others using UseInstalled should test the patch to see if it works
    for them
  - Will review tomorrow

* Bug #1138: Composite crash in Polyline
  - Eric Anholt provided initial patch
  - Adam Jackson says patch fixes problem but creates others with composite

* Bug #1155: libGL build failure
  - IEEE_ONE undefined on HPPA/MIPS Linux
  - Fixed in current Mesa, which should be merged before release
  - Merge with Mesa 6.1 already approved

* Bug #1156: Radeon driver build failures on PPC
  - Patch supplied
  - Just waiting for reply to question asked

* Bug #1157: Radeon line accel broken with DRI enabled
  - Patch supplied, needs review

* Bug #1160: xf86drm.h needs xc/extras/drm/shared/drm.h for functional SDK
  - Needs investigation and patch

* Bug #1168: Damage crashes with rootless layer
  - New fix provided, needs review
