For Ubuntu, I made a pretty simple autotooled package.  I was reasonably
sure I committed it to CVS, but obviously not.  I can commit it tomorrow
if needed.

util/cf is more tricky, especially wrt configuration (what do you set
BuildXawLibrary or whatever it is to, when you don't know which modules
you're going to install?), but we could probably just install a stock
config/cf and be done with it, prefix-changing aside.
