Ain't that the truth!!
I got caught quite nicely once by a rather nasty little surprise
as a result of the preprocessor being ... well ... dumb :)
Somewhere I had a "-Dsco=1". Somewhere else I had a "sco.c".
Imagine my surprise when I couldn't get "1.c" to compile :)
What I like most about the GNU stuff is its use of M4. Granted,
M4 is a bit of a black box to most people. The CPP is certainly
more well known, but M4 is *so* much more appropriate. That was
a really good call whoever decided to use it.
Mmmm makes me wonder ... why has there never been a nutshell
on M4? ....
