Yes, of course. Rather than "commenting out the 32 bit code", the
matching 64 bit
code can be added. I am under the assumption that the driver produced by
a 64 bit
computer would not be used as it would not work. If that is desirable,
then sure, why not, but
it's more than what I was asking.
Just to be sure, I am not advocated to compile under 64 bit *and* to use
the produced driver library.
It's to prevent build failure and allow compile testing for some types
of changes.
For my personal understanding, does a driver produced on Intel 32 work
on Geode hardware?
