Hi, all

With the 2.11.8 geode driver released few days ago, we should turn to other bugs.
Next week we focus on two bugs listed below(critical now):
1)Rendering issue in geode driver. Lots of bugs reported on BTS are focusing on this. Such as 15700 in freedesktop.org.
	https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15700
Set "EXANoComposite" option to "true" of "Device Section" in xorg.conf can avoid this because all rendering work is done by software. That means disabling Composite operation(RENDER acceleration). See the attached pictures for your reference:(*_SW is done with the option EXANoComposited to true)
	scrollbar_HW.png:
scrollbar has too thick and dark border, progress bar is black for one of the colors compared with scrollbar_SW.png.
	button_HW.png:
button has black border around the button compared with button_SW.png.

	2)ScreenSaver issue in geode driver.
		Please see the details below.

Thanks,
Frank

Martin,

Does this bug has been reported on freedesktop.org? If this bug is confirmed by the community, We will turn to it.
By the way, we found another bug in screensaver.
Screensaver bug in details: On Ubuntu and Fedora, when the screensaver is opened and then start(after 1 minute when I set), the screen will be in chaos. Few seconds later, the screen turns to be black as usual. If the user move the mouse or press the key, the screen can not be back again. I attached the picture(in chaos) here. We can not assure if this bug has been reported in the community.
If that can be confirmed, we can investigate with this bug too.
Another three bugs Mart investigate now are:
	https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15700

	https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27725

	https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22100

Just as Tim told us, research deep to the X will need quite a long time. Fortunately you guys have much patience and guide in our process to learn X server, client and other knowledge. Right now it is the time we contribute to the linux community.
Special thanks to Tim and Mart.

Thanks,
Frank

The Gecko issue is described there:

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=570637

A screenshot is attached to the initial report at the start of the
thread for this bug.
