[Xorg-driver-geode] wrong resolution on tv monitor, can not set hdready resolution

hi

i installed gentoo linux with xorg and the latest xf86-video-geode driver on an lx 800 embedded board. the geode driver works fine with an hp 2335 monitor. it recognizes and drives the display with a resolution of 1920x1200 correctly. but the driver fails to set the right resolution on the lcd tv samsung 23t51. attached you find the xorg.conf.new and the
Xorg.0.log files. which i created with the X -configure option than started the X with the created config file. the monitor says "mode not supported". note the vesa driver starts up with a 1024x768 resolution. playing around with modelines and options did not solve the problem. i
got either the mode not supported message or a resolution of 1024x768 or 800x600.

than i downloaded, compiled and installed the xf86-video-geode driver from the trunk. same behavior as the release.

for testing the modeline 1360x768 i connected a mini pc with an intel 945 chickset on the samsung monitor. after setting the right display size and disabling the DDC and EDID i got the desired resolution of 1360x768. i also attached those xorg config and log files with an
extension minipc

note i used the same configuration options for displaysize, modeline and options with the geode driver without success. it seems that the geode driver creates a wrong video timing. please can someone help me to solve the problem.
