Debian is already frozen, but last-minute hardware support fixes are
allowed on a case-by-case basis.
Ubuntu freezes on August 30.
Note that the updated Randr support slated for GEODE 2.12.0 would be
welcome for that same Ubuntu release, since they already use X 1.5.
