Non-PCI Express

Hello! (Apologies in advance if I'm breaking any unwritten rules, first
time using a development mailing list.)

I'm working on enabling GPU acceleration under Linux on the Nintendo Wii U,
which appears to have an R700-based GPU; however, the GPU registers all
appear to be implemented as memory-mapped I/O, rather than being accessible
over a PCI-E bus. Whereabouts would I start to modify the ATI driver to use
MMIO, rather than PCI-E?
