Bug ID: 104620
Summary: R9 280x (Tahiti) not working properly on Ubuntu 17.10
Product: xorg
Version: unspecified
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Driver/Radeon
Assignee: xorg-driver-ati at lists.x.org
Reporter: cannibal_oguz at hotmail.com
QA Contact: xorg-team at lists.x.org
The Radeon Open Driver was working fine on Ubuntu 16.04 with my Radeon R9 280x.
But I just upgraded to Ubuntu 17.10 and it's not working properly now.
There are visible artifacts while resizing various windows.
3D applications are unusable, significant performance decrease(5fps), also some
weird stuff with colors.
P.S. First time reporting bug here, I apologize for any wrong-doings I might be
doing.
