Hi.
I suffering from a bug that I 1st post it in Linux kernel bugzilla, but it
appear later that it is NOT related to Linux kernel & they (kernel bugzilla)
asked me to file it here.
Please look to this link which contain the bug that I posted in Linux kernel
bugzilla:
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=194595
When I post it, I was on Fedora 24. Now I'm on Fedora 26 (upgraded without any
error message during upgrade, from Fedora 24 to Fedora 26) & still suffering
from it.
In Linux kernel bugzilla, they point to radeon/amdgpu. But please notice the
following:
1) I do not installed amdgpu because my laptop is hybrid system & have 2 VGA:
Intel HD Graphic & dedicated VGA Radeon R7 M265. The last one is needed for
amdgpu but support to it by Linux kernel is disable by default & use of
customized kernel is beyond my ability, so I do not install amdgpu & waiting
kernel 4.14.x when support to it may be enabled by default. At that time I will
install amdgpu
2) I searched xorg on my system & did not found radeon package but an ati
package which I think that it is same of radeon, isn't it ? Please look to
screenshot that I attached here from my package manager. Please verify this: I
selected "Driver/Radeon" depending on my believe that Radeon = ati
Best.
