Hello Mathieu,
Thanks, yes, currently it appears acceleration works with my preferred GFX
card (GeForce 6800 Ultra, AGP) on Debian Jessie ~8.7.1.
One thing though, I need help with the screen. Is there any way to reset
the chip, since it appears an inherent problem not allowing all the screen
real estate (a good portion of it is black space, with proper picture
showing on the rest).
A real bonus would be if you guys in "apt-get update && apt-get upgrade"
provide a GPU reset for xserver-xorg-video-nouveau.
P.S. I got it by using the "fbdev" driver in my xorg.conf. Sorry not able
to attach it at the moment since on another comp.
P.P.S I did send another bug report you replied to me on, thank you, it and
this one apply to the same comp.
Thanks!
Mark
