With Linux kernel 4.6.0-040600rc4 from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline :

-  'Line Out - Built-in Audio' provides correct sound,

-  'HDMI / DisplayPort - Tahiti XT HDMI Audio [Radeon HD 7970 Series]' provides
NO SOUND AT ALL.
