functionality is considered experimental. As such it's not required to
keep it backwards compatible, as everyone acknowledges the fact that
things may change/disappear until a release is cut. Not to mention
that there is no official documentation supporting the feature.

All I'm saying is that it feels strange to keep dri3 regardless that
it's been in git for a while. But at the end of the day it's not my
call.
