Xorg.0.log from system that is failing

I can't even figure out how to make Fedora install an older kernel to see
if that has the problem - but attached is an X log from the defective system
in hopes that will show something useful.  Again, with the defective system
the touchpad mouse seems to work normally, but pushing the buttons seems to
do nothing.  And when I'm first logged in there is this window about selecting
which desktop, or adding more desktops; I don't get that on a system that
works.
