Please attach your dmesg output.  It's possible that it's a software issue,
possibly a timing issue with respect to initializing part of the display pipe. 
E.g., you need a 10 us delay between turning on blocks A and B for block a to
synchronize, but in certain causes you only get 9 us or in certain causes you
really need 11 us, etc.
