I just displayed
http://geography.oii.ox.ac.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/InternetTube_v2-01.png
in iceweasel 28.0-1 at full resolution without crash.
Running xserver-xorg-video-ati: 1:7.3.0-1+glamor and libglamor0: 0.6.0-1.
