If you didn't get these messages before, then the GPU didn't hang. Also, it's
unlikely that a GPU hang directly causes an X server crash. So, I suspect
there's several different problems here.

Can you attach a screenshot showing a claws-mail combo box which can trigger
the problem(s)?
