As of Kernel 3.9-rc6 power management is not yet supported for Trinity. (ARUBA
is the code name for the integrated graphics and TN stands for Trinity, the
code name of your A4-5300.) 

If you use KMS (Kernel Mode Setting; default since 7.0.0) then power management
is done by the kernel. Watch the file linked below for changes in this regard.
