There is a noticeable framerate drop with radeon driver in Gnome 3 when moving
mouse which is not present in Openbox. 

System:


3.8 GHz PhenomII x4 core AMD processsor
4GB DDR3 RAM
Sapphire Radeon 6950 graphics card


Running glxgears in Gnome 3 with vsync enabled:

Running synchronized to the vertical refresh.  The framerate should be
approximately the same as the monitor refresh rate.
