The image on displayport connected monitor. The dark section in the middle is a
mirror of terminal covering another desktop in another monitor

Picture on display port monitor on a dual screen setup is very corrupted, it
mirrors partly the other screen Cursor is rendered just fine on top of the
screen.

I've had some problems before with this setup, but nothing this severe.

This seems to be related to a previously unseen error in dmesg:
