It's back with Linux 3.1 X server 1.11 branch ati git.

Seemed to not occur with Linux 3.0, X server 1.10.4, ati git from sometime
Aug/Sep.

But it does not always happen so it may be just random.

Suspend to disk seemed to fix this last time it happened way back.

The thin dashed line is caused by repeating the first 3 scanlines of the cursor
which typically repeats some tip. The cursor changes normally as it passes over
areas with different cursor, it's just rendered wrong.

This is on RV530LE so not limited to r600.
