I'm having the same problem here. An older git version (from around 2010-11-09)
didn't have this problem. GPU runs around 20°C hotter than it used to and the
shared heatsink means that the CPU is frequently overheating.

System is a Thinkpad T60. ATI Mobility X1300. Currently running Fedora 14 with
out of the box ati driver, but previously tested on a home built git driver on
Fedora 12.
