I have already tried disabling all options in xorg.conf, I have even tried
removing completely this file and load defaults, however things got worse
because EXAPixmaps are on and I get the artifacts.

Concerning xcompmgr and cairo-compmgr things do get slower and glxgears output
has fps output of not more than 80 fps with vsync off, then when xcompmgr is
killed, 3D acceleration comes back and I get 2700+ fps.
