For the first time *ever* today, this corruption has magically "fixed" itself
about 30 minutes after it started happening. Is this the most unlikely memory
corruption event in human history, or a clue as to what the actual underlying
problem with the hardware cursor really is?
The xorg driver is from git, with the latest commit being:
