[Bug 34875] colortiling issues with x300/x1300

I haven't tested the exa patch yet but I turned on colortiling and tried
running some benchmarks including openarena with it and it worked for 10
seconds or so
then the computer froze and rebooted itself
it had been running the same benchmark set fine with it off

I assume that exa patch wouldn't effect this issue in the least?
should I file another bug on this as it might be mesa related instead?
