Summary: Strange mouse behavior with draging, highlighting,
selecting multiple files and the likes
           Product: xorg
           Version: 7.6
          Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
        OS/Version: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: medium
         Component: Driver/Radeon
        AssignedTo: xorg-driver-ati at lists.x.org
        ReportedBy: slyusarevmikhail at gmail.com
         QAContact: xorg-team at lists.x.org

When doing a task such as selecting several files from a file browser by
clicking and moving the mouse over the items, the blue box that represents the
area being selected will disappear, reappear in different places, possibly
[emulate a] click on a file that the mouse is over or other undefined behavior.
A similar issue exists when selecting text: selected text appears random, and
sometimes it's as if i clicked on the selected text and dragged it.
Furthermore, when dragging a window to a different position on the screen, it
will sometimes maximize out of nowhere or do other weird things.

My system runs arch linux with kernel 2.6.39, the xf86-video-ati driver, two
monitors (maybe relevant) and Gnome version 3.0.2. I can provide more info if
need-be, I can't think of anything else that's relevant though.
