No, on 1.9 kwin OpenGL had some rendering problems (for exapmle, blinking
windows on minimization and changing virtual desktop)
On 1.10 kwin OpenGL won't even run.

Yes, I did it.
> Maybe you can also attach Xorg.0.log from xserver 1.9 (with working compiz),
