Well; all the games /usr/games/neverball, /usr/games/neverputt, etracer,
ppracer cause a similar hang (mouse disappears and Xorg stays unreactive for
some time). They quit with the following error message:

 X Error of failed request:  BadRequest (invalid request code or no such
operation)
  Major opcode of failed request:  137 (GLX)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  19 (X_GLXQueryServerString)
  Serial number of failed request:  16
  Current serial number in output stream:  16

ppracer did definitely leave the same backtrace as posted here always.
