Hello,

Thanks for your fast reply. Indeed, after I set the option "ColorTiling" to
"False" in xorg.conf, upgraded the radeon xorg video driver again to 6.14.0,
and restarted X, everything worked as expected.

Now I gave the patch a try, and it works like a charm: xserver-xorg-core
1:1.9.4-2 with the patch from bug 33929 applied and xserver-xorg-video-radeon
1:6.14.0-1 with the default xorg.conf (no options disabled) make the bug
disappear.

So one last question remains: is this a bug in the xorg xserver core, instead
of the radeon video driver? In this case I would reassign the bug in the Debian
BTS from xserver-xorg-video-radeon to xserver-xorg-core.

Thanks for your help.

greetings,
 jonas
