HDMI video on HP ProBook 4525s doesn't work

Hi list,
I run into issues with the radeon (as well as the radeonhd) driver.
I hooked up a screen with a HDMI->DVI cable but the screen doesn't
show a picture.

The notebook displays an image on the external DVI screen in Windows 7.

To me it seems that at least some communication from the screen to the graphics
card works. But no image signal is sent from the graphics card to the screen.

Regards, Martin
