I have recently updated kernel to 2.6.38-rc2 from opensuse repo (I had 2.6.37
final before that) and still receive same behavior (though just after update
things worked fine without hangs for several hours and I started to believe
that the problem has gone).
And now I have just received the same hang even with kernel booted with
nomodeset option - started to write 800mb meego image to the flash drive with
dd command.
After reboot cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old gives same messages:
