I'm not sure what's up with windows 7.  This list is for open xorg
source driver issues and development.

If this is an evergreen (Radeon HD 5xxx) card, that should be fixed by
this patch:

If not, please send me the output of dmesg and a copy of your vbios.
To get a copy of your vbios, do the following (as root):
cd /sys/bus/pci/devices/<pci bus id>
echo 1 > rom
cat rom > /tmp/vbios.rom
echo 0 > rom
