Does booting with radeon.new_pll=0 on the kernel command line help?  You can
also test this set of drm patches:
http://people.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/pll_fixes/
or test Dave's drm-next branch:
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/airlied/drm-2.6.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/drm-next
as it already has those patches.
