x1270 and/or RS690m completely ignored?

3D support is provided by mesa, not xf86-video-ati.  What versions of
xserver, mesa, and xf86-video-ati are you using?  Also, take a look at
your xorg log and dmesg to make sure the DRI is properly enabled.
