Summary: ATI Radeon 2100 missing 3D support
           Product: xorg
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
        OS/Version: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Driver/Radeon
        AssignedTo: xorg-driver-ati at lists.x.org
        ReportedBy: magicfab at ubuntu.com
         QAContact: xorg-team at lists.x.org

Although this card supports 3D acceleration, the radeon driver seems to be
missing it. A bug has been submitted in Ubuntu about this:
https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/600331

It contains complete logs and more details, basically after upgrading from 9.10
to 10.04LTS the system lost the proprietary drivers which have dropped support
for this card since.

Please let me know which files would be useful to attach here or how we can
help advancing this issue so other Radeon 2100 users get this functionality in
the radeon driver. Last wiki pages avec xorg here are dated back 2008 so if
there's any better way to file this bug please let me know.
