I'm wondering, would it be possible to guess if the connected device is a TV
and thus likely to need underscan? Things like presence of interlaced
resolutions in the edid data maybe? Dot pitch?
In any case, I agree with Michel. Underscan by default seems wrong, and a
better way to override would be nice.
