Agreed. The fetching is fine. What I miss on openSUSE-11.3 and Fedora14
is forwarding to clients of the property.
On some web pages the following was referred as to show attached properties:
$ xrandr --prop
But I do not find "EDID" covered. Is'nt it the driver to attach the "EDID" 
property to the output?
