I'm experiencing a random xorg hands once I enable KMS mode (grub:
radeon.modeset=1)

So far I can't find any helpful logs so please let me know how can I can
provide any useful information.

Software:
sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.36
x11-base/xorg-server-1.9.2
x11-drivers/xf86-video-ati-6.13.2

Hardware:
IBM thinkpad t42
VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV350 [Mobility Radeon 9600
M10]
