Summary: [R300] [KMS] Mouse becomes invisible after mode switch
Product: xorg
Version: 7.5
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Keywords: regression
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Driver/Radeon
AssignedTo: xorg-driver-ati at lists.x.org
ReportedBy: jussaar at mbnet.fi
QAContact: xorg-team at lists.x.org
Immediately after successfully booting up my computer and logging in in GDM,
everything works OK. However, if I switch display modes, mouse cursor becomes
invisible. Things still get highlighted when I move mouse cursor over them, but
the cursor itself is nowhere to be seen.
Cursor becomes visible again if I do one of the following things:
1) Switch VT to console and back to X.
2) Press CTRL+C on any terminal window.
3) Switch to root user (i.e. "su -") on any terminal window.
Workaround: Disable KMS.
