broken.regs after resume

* resume works, but using X not possible, I see a square mouse pointer
flickering as everytime trying to resume. I can see my desktop as before
resume. but no input is possible, so going into the console and shutting down
gdm/xorg
restarting Xorg/gdm does not help

After reboot everytghing is fine.
