Unfortunately not. After applying the patch the screen flickers like crazy,
with some stripes running from right to left. I could still see the desktop,
however resolution switching to 800x600 resulted in the whitescreen. I havent
tested further because i feared i could damage my panel, however i have the
xorg-log if you need it.
