It's not relevant as your chip does not have fractional fb dividers.

Does it happen with acceleration disabled (Option "NoAccel" "True")
or DRI disabled (Option "DRI" "False")? It might also be AGP related. Try:
Option "AGPMode" "X"
where X = 1 or 2 or 4
or Option "BusType" "PCI"

It may be the same issue, but the resolutions will probably be different since
the chips are so different. Might as well file a new bug.

That would be helpful. It would also be helpful to get a copy of your video
bios and you xorg log and config.
